Genius Sports and the Vietnam Pro Basketball League have formed a long-term exclusive partnership. Genius Sports’ official data tools, distribution of live streaming and robust integrity services will drive the VBA to the next phase of its global growth, while protecting the competitions against the threat of match fixing.
Seven teams competed in the VBA 2023 league, one of Asia’s largest basketball leagues. Genius Sports, the trusted partner of over 200 basketball leagues worldwide, will provide FIBA LiveStats for the capture of official play-byplay statistics in every game. This data will power the VBA’s live broadcasts as well as scoreboards, websites, and other fan-facing platform.
Genius Sports has been granted exclusive rights by the VBA to distribute and capture its official live video and data streams through its global partners network. Genius Sports is helping to protect Vietnam basketball against the threat of match fixing through 24/7 monitoring technology that uses bespoke algorithms for automatically flagging anomalous betting activities.
