The Indian League of Legends team, proving their superiority, produced an impressive display in the Central and South Asia Seeding Event and recorded victory against Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan. They also won a statement win over Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyzstan in order to gain favorable seeding for the 19 th Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou.
In all three games, Team India showed off their skills and teamwork under the leadership of Akshaj (Kai) and with Samarth Arvind (CrankO), Mihir (Lotus), Sanindhya Malik(Deadcorp), Aakash (Infi), Aditya (Crow), and Aakash (Infi). The team began their campaign with a 2-0 win over Sri Lanka, followed by a 2-0 victory over Kazakhstan on the first day. They then defeated Kyrgyzstan by the same scoreline.
Akshaj Shnoy, the team captain of Team India League of Legends commented on the results. “It’s amazing to have achieved a favorable seeding at the Asian Games in 2022 with such dominance.” The countless hours spent on practice and planning strategies that our team has put in to get to this point are reflected in each of these victories. We are ready to take on any challenge. Our journey has been amazing and we have never looked back. We would like to express our gratitude to ESFI, for giving us this opportunity. We will leave no stone unturned to achieve a podium at the Asian Games .”
Team India, who won the National Esports Championships organized by the Esports Federation of India ESFI (ESFI) to gain entry to the Asian Games, has proven their ability to perform consistently at the highest level. They have established themselves as a team to be watched in the highly anticipated Asian Games with their resounding wins in the seeding matches against top teams in Asia.
“Team India’s scintillating performance in the League of Legends Seeding Event is a preview of what will come in Hangzhou. We are proud of their achievements and confident that India will be proud when they compete against the top teams in Asia. “Everyone at ESFI is committed to supporting the team in their efforts to bring honor to India at the Asian Games,” stated Mr. Lokesh Suji is the Director of Esports Federation of India & vice president of the Asian Esports Federation.
Esports will make its debut at the Asian Games as a medal event. 19 teams representing the best League of Legends players from across the continent will compete for the gold. The Asian Games will feature 19 notable League of Legends teams from the continent that will battle it out for glory in what will be Esports’ debut as an official medal event at the tournament.

The DOTA 2 seeding matches for Darshan, Krish Abhishek Ketan and Shubham, as well as the Street Fighter V seeding matches for Mayank Prajapati, Ayan Biswas and Ayan Biwas, will take place online on 13th July.
The AESF will soon announce the dates of the seeding matches for FIFA Online 4 athletes Charanjot and Karman Tikka.
