Could you please briefly describe Blocktrade’s core services and Blocktrade?

We had worked with DCL in the past, but we never collaborated. It was logical that we partner up now, as both of our user groups are interconnected. Blocktrade offers easy, fast and secure crypto transfers internationally, while DCL delivers fast-paced gaming action. In the drone world this is a match made in heaven.
What are the values and objectives that Blocktrade and Drone Champions League have in common?
We are both driven by a need for speed, efficiency and . Cryptography is also a race where there’s no pause button. We also share a vision for internationalization, innovation and the removal of borders, for payments and for sports.
The Drone Champions League will take place in Dubai on 23rd June. What role does Blocktrade play in this event?
We will officially announce our partnership there and will celebrate it with a special sign-on bonus (https://trade.blocktrade.com/join/DCL_Dubai) and some fun events and promotions. We will collaborate with each other throughout the races. This is a long term partnership. Drone racing enthusiasts will have the chance to learn about the crypto-trading world. Tournament winners will receive prizes using Blocktrade’s BTEX Token, while our community of crypto-traders will gain exposure to the Drone Champions League.
Could you explain how the blockchain technology, which is at the core of Blocktrade’s operations, influences the operations and future of Drone Racing.
In a global racing series, fast and secure international payment is key. Some pilots have also contacted us to discuss financial services and investment options for the long term. We can help more people, including pilots and crypto enthusiasts, take control of their financial situation and get into the crypto world through our user-first educational program.
What is Blocktrade’s plan for leveraging this event in order to reach out to new audiences or clients?
I believe there is a large overlap between crypto enthusiasts and drone racing fans. We realize this more and more as we get deeper into the partnership. In order to expand and grow our collective reach, it’s crucial that emerging industries partner with one another. In our case eSports will reach a viewership of 318.1M in 2025 and drone racing has become incredibly popular within that. We want to bring crypto and cheap, instant payments to the masses. Strategic partnerships such as this one are helping us achieve that.
Does Blocktrade have any initiatives or activities at the Drone Champions League that it is leading?
As we have mentioned, we are going to announce our partnership with DCL during the “DCL-Thrills Race Exhibition” where we will host a number of events, promotions and activities including a sign-on incentive. Eight top teams will compete in this exhibition race at the prestigious Dubai Esports &Games Festival, showcasing how they can navigate agile drones on a desert course.
Drone racing is an innovative sport that’s a bit futuristic. What is the alignment between Blocktrade’s mission and vision?
We could have partnered with established car racing leagues but drone racing is more interesting and aligns better with our values. It’s easier to get into drone racing than car racing leagues. The sport is accessible, and there are many new talents. This is a racing league for the masses with all of the thrills that come from traditional sports leagues. Blocktrade is committed to making crypto accessible to the masses. With our gamified strategy, we can offer some thrills.
Blocktrade’s involvement in the Drone Champions League is something that spectators can look forward to.
We are still in the early stages of our collaboration, so you won’t see us on the course, but we will be supporting a team. We want to continue to emphasize crypto education for the Drone Champions League fans. So we will create fun challenges that combine gaming with our advanced Blocktrade Academy which teaches users to engage safely in the crypto market.
What future projects or partnerships can Blocktrade expect to have beyond the Drone Champions League?
We have partnered with greentube.com and boutgamers.gg to enter the gaming world. Boutgamers is going to emphasize our community-based approach and we will be hosting a Blocktrade Tournament there very soon. We have also partnered with Greentube, and we are very excited about the ongoing Ski Challenge. We can engage with our clients all year round.
Do you think that collaborations such as the one between Drone Champions League and Blocktrade are important for the development of sports and technology? Why?
A racing series is a great way to test a product. It exposes it to broader audiences and provides heightened exposure. We have tested our blockchain technology under the most extreme conditions.
