Esports Players League (ESPL), a global esports tournament platform provider, has announced the launch of ESPL Arena, the first Host-to Earn esports platform geared specifically for Web3. Web3’s esports platform will present its User-Generated Tournament solution (UGT) to a worldwide audience. Tournament contestants can win prizes in digital assets.
ESPL hosts over 2,000 tournaments annually and has over 280,000 gamers worldwide. It also has a presence in 17 countries in Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
ESPL is supported worldwide by a strong group of investors including Warner Music and 500 Startups as well as Genting Ventures and iCandy Interactive.
Through blockchain technology, the company plans to bring professional and amateur players into its Web3 esports ecosystem.
Froyo Games, a Web3 casual gaming platform, will provide strategy and investment support to ESPL’s Arena launch.
Arena’s User-Generated Tournament
The UGT platform powers ESPL’s Arena organization of tournaments. It provides an easy-to use interface that allows players to enter, take part and score for online esports events.
UGT can disburse tournament prizes in a flexible and transparent manner. It releases NFTs and tokens to winning players’ wallets instantly and intelligently flags conflicting submissions. A marshall is able to mediate between participants and hosts before prizes are issued.
Pancake Swap: Utility token launched
Pancake Swap is collaborating with ESPL to launch the utility token $ARENA. Pancake Swap is one of the most important decentralized blockchain exchanges around the globe. The new token will be used in the ESPL Arena platform. This will allow tournament organizers to have a transparent and efficient way of bringing gamers together for friendly competition. Tournament organizers will have the ability to charge fees for tournaments that are hosted and automatically allocate prizes to participants at the end of competitive events. This creates a Host-to Earn system.
The digital asset approach allows organizers to organize large and small open tournaments online for multiplayer games using a scoreboard.
