Casino Guru Academy, the world’s largest independent online casino, has launched a course called ESG Principles for iGaming. This is part of the Casino Guru Academy’s free resources designed to help gambling professionals expand their knowledge.
The course is divided into four chapters, with a separate final exam. Each chapter is introduced by a short video, and accompanied by a variety of written materials designed to enhance professionals’ understanding of iGaming in ESG spheres.
Anyone interested in learning more about ESG can enroll for free and explore the three pillars and their importance to iGaming, as well as what they have to offer. The course also covers reporting and materiality of ESG as well as key takeaways for the sustainable iGaming sector.
Both Simon Vincze, Casino Guru Sustainable and Safer Gambling Leader, and Adrian Sladdin from Seventh Wave corporate training, who spearheaded the work on this course, were ecstatic about it.
The ESG agenda provides answers to many of the issues that face the iGaming sector. The S of ESG not only aims to reduce gambling harm, but also offers ways of bringing gambling into the spotlight as a legitimate form of entertainment that comes with associated risks. Vincze said, “I am thrilled that we were able to work with Seventh Wave Training and offer our learners bespoke content free of charge.”
Sladdin was also excited by the joint opportunity, describing the project as both a success and pleasure. It has been fascinating for us to see the intersection of ESG and iGaming. This is, we believe, the first ESG online course for the gambling sector with which our company works closely. It is therefore a perfect fit. This also leads to our in-person courses, which help people master the brief”, Sladdin said.
