Two new hires have helped Freemarket continue its ambitious expansion plan. The platform is a leader in fintech for B2B cross border payments and currency conversion for small-to-medium-sized businesses.
Martin White and Kiran Ranu join Freemarket as Business development director and business development manager, respectively. These hires follow the recent addition of Annie Osborne as Business Development Director.
White has more than 30 years’ experience in business development, including 23 years spent in the payments industry. He has held a number of senior positions with Barclaycard, Pay Future and other companies. This has allowed him to build strong relationships within the gaming and gambling industry.
His unrivalled expertise and extensive network will be used to strengthen Freemarket’s position in the gaming, gambling and betting sectors. Both of these have been identified by Freemarket as needing their cutting-edge platform.
Ranu has worked in sales for over nine years, holding positions at Trustpilot and AAT. She has worked in a variety of roles including account management and recruitment.
She will be working with White and Osborne as Business Development Manager to expand Freemarket’s global presence in the gambling and online gaming industries.
Fremarket is a platform that allows for currency exchange and cross-border payment. Customers have access to a global network of NBFIs and banks, as well as innovative proprietary technology. They can streamline their processes, reduce complexity, and increase efficiency.
It couldn’t be simpler to integrate Freemarket. It can be accessed through an API or web-based portal, and is integrated with leading infrastructure and computing services. This ensures security and resilience.
Richard Harrison and Vice-President of Sales at Freemarket said: “With Martin and Kiran and the recently added Annie, we now have a highly knowledgeable, passionate and experienced business development team which will spearhead our expansion in the online gaming and gambling sectors.
Both bring an incredible energy to the company, along with the drive and tenacity which are very important to our business. Their experience and their network will bolster the gambling teams and I’m very excited to witness the impact they will have.
Martin White Business Director at Freemarket said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Freemarket family, and I will use my experience to assist the business in deploying and achieving its growth ambitions within the gambling sector. It is clear that there are many companies in this sector who need our currency exchange and cross-border payment solution. I am excited to let more businesses know what we can offer.
Kiran Ranu is Business development manager at Freemarket. She said: “Freemarket’s business development team has been built to an amazing standard and I am proud to be part of it.” Together, we’ll help us take our presence in gambling to the next-level, helping businesses make faster cross-border payment and currency exchange than ever before.
