Bede Gaming appointed Dan Whiteley to the position of Chief Technology Officer.
Whiteley has 25 years’ experience in digital and complex technology products and solutions, having held previous senior leadership positions with Flutter, CTS, and Jugo. He is a specialist in setting up innovative technology visions and strategies for digital transformation, architecture, product engineering and IT service.
“I am proud to be a part of Bede’s journey. Bede is a company that has a proven track record of engineering excellence. The potential to expand on Bede’s existing capabilities is exciting. Whiteley stated that he was looking forward to working together with the team in order to bring cutting-edge technology to the igaming industry.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dan into the team. He will play a key role in driving Bede’s technology strategy and working with teams from across the company to make sure Bede is a leader in cutting-edge, innovative solutions. He will be a key part of Bede’s operations both internally and with external clients, and his experience in technology leadership is a great fit for the role, according to Colin Cole-Johnson.
This is the latest of a number of noteworthy announcements made by the premium software provider. In March 2022, Cole-Johnson was named CEO and Kirsty Steward as Chief Legal & Client Services officer in 2023. Whiteley’s addition to Bede’s Executive team is a further testament to Bede’s commitment to customers through innovative technical solutions and strong commercial relationships, as well as customer-focused products.
Bede is currently running a live platform of five internationally-recognized customer operators, including one of the largest entertainment companies in the world (Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation). It is maintained by a staff of over 300 people from 3 continents.
Whiteley’s role will take effect on 3 July 2023 following the departure earlier this year of Bede’s former CTO, Andy Wardle.
