A world-class platform provider hires an experienced employee to a key role
Luke Cousins, Commercial Director, is now part of the executive team at Playbook Engineering.
Cousins, who has spent 14 years in the iGaming sector, has landed a key job at Playbook Engineering.
Cousins worked for a number of businesses before joining Playbook Engineering. He launched the first United States Office in New York for Pentasia, and then moved to North America to lead business development at Conexus Group. Cousins, who returned to the United Kingdom to form his own consulting firm in 2019, built and grew Unikrn’s B2B division and sold it to Entain. He also assisted Hypometer and Moja Group with their growth.
Playbook Engineering has strengthened its reputation as a leading global player in sports and casinos, thanks to the development of cutting edge technology and providing the best user experience.
Luke Cousins said, “I was looking to represent a high-quality product as I see many opportunities in the global marketplace.”
“The strength of Playbook Engineering’s platform was what attracted me. Affiliates and operators who have used the platform confirmed its strength in terms of customer retention, experience and KPIs. The platform supports multiple UKGC licensed operators. This gives us the opportunity to explore emerging and existing regulated market.
“I’m excited about the new regulations and the opportunities they provide for new markets. Whether it is developing markets like Africa or Latin America, where mass market potential exists, or mature regulated markets like the United States or Ontario that can be difficult to penetrate, but are ultimately very valuable.
Playbook Engineering’s technology and the team we have put in place will allow us to be in a good position to exploit these markets.
Cousins spoke at iGB Live, Amsterdam. This was his first expo in his new role as Playbook Engineering’s Commercial Director. He will also be at other events through 2023.
