VALORANT Regional Circuit – BEACON Split 1 2023 is the Northern European VALORANT Circuit that focuses entirely on grassroots play. It will kick off with an EPIC38 LAN event on February 25. Budding VALORANT pros can compete in a variety of events, earning circuit points. This will give them a chance at qualifying for the Polaris Regional League. The end-of-split Division 1 Circuit Finals will take place May 22-26.
To help VALORANT players on the road to professional play, the BEACON Circuit has always prioritized getting as many eyes as possible on emerging talent. The BEACON Circuit had just over 40,000 viewers who watched nearly 24,000 hours worth of livestream content in 2022. This gave aspiring VALORANT professionals the chance to show their talents to a wider audience. With 1.3 million impressions and 250 thousand engagements, the 2022 BEACON Split 1-Finals Weekend was also a big hit on social media with 361 thousand video views, 361 thousand videos, and 1.3 million impressions.
Promod Esports will operate the BEACON circuit this year. This division will allow for three new tiers: Minors, LAN Events and Majors. Each tier will award 100, 500, or 1000 circuit points. These points can be used to qualify a team for the Division 1 Circuit Finals and seed them. Below is a complete list of confirmed BEACON Tournament partner organizations, as well as the tier of tournaments they are hosting within this circuit.
Circuit events will begin on February 25th and continue until the BEACON 1 2023 Circuit Finals, which take place May 22nd. The teams can compete in as many tournaments they wish within the time frame. However, points earned through LAN-tier tournaments won’t stack and only the highest points from all BEACON Split 1 LAN events will count towards a team’s total points. The 2023 Split 1 Division 1 Circuit Finals will again feature eight teams who have accumulated the most points during the split as well as two teams from the previous Challengers Northern Europe Polaris Split. The Division 1 Circuit Finals’ top two teams will be guaranteed a place at Polaris 2024.
