Crocs World is a collaboration between Gen.G and Crocs. This marks the second year of building Crocs World for both ZEPETO metaverse and Roblox.
The #CrocsxZEPETO Personalized Your Classics Design contest in ZEPETO was launched on the 8th of September. The winning design will be available for purchase as a digital item in the Crocs Collection on ZEPETO as well as a phygital copy of their personalised Classic Clog. On September 15, “CrocsWorld Tycoon” in Roblox will be launched to give fans a new gaming experience. Players can customize their Crocs with different colours and styles.
The #CrocsxZEPETO Personalize Your Classics Contest, which is part of Crocs’ Personalise Your Classics Campaign, highlights the joys of personalisation with Jibbitz Charms. Users are invited to decorate their Classic Clogs using Jibbitz sticker designs, and take a virtual photo at the ZEPETO Booth. From September 8 to September 22, fans can enter the contest by posting their original design creations in their ZEPETO feeds and on social media. Grand prize winners will see their designs added to the Crocs official collection on ZEPETO. They will also receive a phygital Classic Clog featuring custom Jibbitz Charms based upon their winning design. The winner will also get a Crush Clog and an Echo Clog as well as 3 Jibbitz Charm Packs, 100 ZEMs, and a Crush Clog.
The #CrocsxZEPETO Collection will include 15 new products, which includes both footwear and apparel. These items will include the classic Classic Clog as well as new styles like the Mega Crush Clog. Echo Clog. Siren Clog.
On September 15, players will be able to enjoy “CrocsWorld: Tycoon”, a theme park centered around the iconic Crocs footwear. This includes the Classic Crush Clog and Platform Clog. Players will find themselves immersed in a world full of possibilities the moment they step onto their own personal island. They can create a pair of unique Classic Clogs, Crush Clogs, Mega Crush Sandals and more, with custom colours and shapes and Jibbitz Charms. In-game Likes are earned, and can be used to unlock customisation options and new attractions. Crocs: Tycoon offers a variety of engaging and quirky activities. Players can explore the park in the Crocs car, fly with the Crocs Jetpack, or have friendly duels using the Crocs launcher. Players can unlock Crocs avatars as they progress through the game.
Supporting Crocs in delivering unique, gamer-authentic experiences on metaverse platforms has been rewarding on many levels. Martin Kim, Gen.G’s Chief Revenue Officer, stated that gamers are at their core creative. “We hope everyone enjoys our experiences in Zepeto or Roblox,” he said.
Crocs expansion to ZEPETO & Roblox comes after the successful launch of the brand on both platforms in 2017. The experience featured a virtual concert & interactive livestream featuring a popular Kpop Girl Group for its 20th anniversary. This launch demonstrates Crocs’ commitment to explore immersive brand experiences via virtual reality and gaming to bring forth innovative ways to engage with fans across the globe.
