ESL, a brand of ESL FACEIT Group, and BBC Studios (the content company of BBC), proudly present “Game and Glory”, an upcoming documentary on esports. It will air on Twitch at 5pm CET and YouTube on January 24, 2023. You can stream the premiere on Twitch with Gaules and other viewers.
“Game and Glory” will reveal the personal side to the pro-players Oleksandr Kostyliev and Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato. You can find out what they thought while competing in the Intel(r] Extreme Masters (IEM] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Championship (CS:GO), Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Follow their journey to win the largest title in esports. Relive many intense moments and nerve-racking action. BBC Studios captured the incredible atmosphere at the IEM Rio Major and the passion and support of its fans for the documentary “Game and Glory”. EFG hosted the largest CSGO Major with a prize pool totaling $1,250,000 from October 31st 2022 to November 13th 2022. It was the most watched ESL competition ever and the third most-watched CS:GO tournament of all time. The tournament attracted 3,500 spectators per day during its first and second phases. During the last four days, more than 14,000 people experienced a live atmosphere.
