Scientific Games has announced the successful launch a new central gaming platform for Latvijas Loto. The launch of the AEGIS central gaming system was highlighted by the seamless transition from legacy technology. This will allow the Lottery to grow in the future. The system is used to power sales of draw-based games Eurojackpot and Vikinglotto as well as SuperBingo Latloto 5/35 Keno Loto5 as well as Scientific Games’ world-leading instant-games called momentloterijas in the country.
Edgars Ledins said that Latvijas Loto was “extremely happy” with the recent conversion of their system to a more advanced technology. Scientific Games has provided superior products and service for decades, which makes our partnership with them a success. “Our new central system provides enhanced data security and flexible support to Latvijas Loto during our next era responsible growth, benefiting the Latvian State Budget as well as separate educational and sports programs for Latvian youth and children.”
In addition to the high-performance WAVE X retail terminals, Scientific Games is also responsible for the maintenance and support of the Latvijas Loto network’s retailer network.
