BETBY, an innovative sportsbook provider, celebrated its five-year anniversary by holding a charity event. Proceeds from the auction went to Common Ground in Riga, a local community center.
The prizes available for bidding included a trip on a speedboat with CCO Chris Nikolopoulos and a wine-tasting experience with COO Eva Berkova, among others. BETBY doubled the money raised in support of the Riga community centre.
BETBY began its relationship with Common Ground earlier this year. The supplier wanted to help the centre integrate the people in the local community and teach them various skills to adapt to their new environment after they were forced to leave home because of the conflict in Ukraine.
All BETBY employees also attended a series online meetings and talks where the executive team including CEO Leonid Ptsovskiy answered questions and discussed future plans for the BETBY brand.
Staff who have been with BETBY for the entire five-year journey received a trophy to thank them for their dedication and reinforce BETBY’s philosophy of putting the people first.
Leonid PERTSOVSKIY, CEO of BETBY, said: “Celebrating the five-year anniversary with our staff and people from Riga’s wider community is a great way to celebrate this occasion.
We are very proud of our staff and their dedication. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to grow and prosper in the way we have. I am grateful to everyone who has been a part of our incredible adventure.”
