European Gaming was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer in the middle of last year. We sat down with Nadiya attard to review the record-breaking year that Relax Gaming had enjoyed.
She also shared her philosophy as the CCO of a major iGaming company and discussed the future plans for Relax for ICE 2023.
Relax had a record breaking 2022. Before we start, could you tell us the secrets to such incredible success, and highlight namely Relax Rush and Dream Drop?
Relax Gaming was able to have a great year in 2022, and surpass all expectations. These key characteristics are: a solid technical foundation that allows us to provide a stable platform, meet key deadlines, bring our unique ideas to life and integrity in our service. Each of these is a foundation for our business.
Relax and the team. I’m certain many of our European Gaming readers already know you, but if not, could you tell us about yourself and your role as CCO?
I would describe myself as energetic and ambitious. In my 20 years of industry experience, I have built up a large portfolio of deals and professional accomplishments. Personally, I am a person who likes to think differently and go against the flow in every aspect of my life, especially my management style.
As a leader, I enjoy being a teammate and a manager. This allows me to ensure that my coworkers are motivated, grow in their fields, and get rewarded well. You’ll see some reshuffle in our sales team as I believe that people should be able to adjust their roles to their passions and invest in our existing superstars before we hire externally.
We’re looking forward to ICE which Relax is sure to be very excited about. What’s in store at the show?
This will be the first ICE expo to have Relax physically present at the event with a pop up hub (N4300), rather than in meeting rooms. We’re thrilled to welcome both new and old customers over the three days. We are almost full and can’t wait for clients to get a sneak peak at 2023.
2023 – We’re certain you have plenty of games to delight players.
There is a lot of exciting things in 2023, including the star of the quarter Book of Power that was created in collaboration with CasinoGrounds. It is attracting the attention of many operators right now.
We have plans to expand our presence in regulated markets like Italy, Spain, Italy, and Greece. Elsewhere Dream Drop Jackpots plans to leverage its strengths with a massive release over the summer – We won’t give away anything, but we invite you to visit our stand for more details!
Dream Drop was a huge breakthrough for players. How much difference can you see the Relax type of Jackpots making in terms of inspiring future creations.
Since its launch in May 2022, our Dream Drop Jackpots product is a huge success. Operators who used the promo tools and the Dream Drop Ticker (in lobby jackpot status) have seen particularly positive results. We’ll continue to boost this throughout the year by adding new promo tools to the Relax portfolio and P2P partners.
Jackpots have been dropping steadily, and numbers are climbing higher each month. It will be difficult to replicate this success. A supplier needs a large distribution network, a robust and secure system of operation, and a game mechanic that flows well. There’s more to this type of mechanic than meets the eye.
