Skyesports is the leading esports event organizer in India, catering to gamers in Asia. The company has announced an initial list of Counter-Strike 2 Teams that will compete at the Skyesports Masters 2020, as it looks to expand globally. This exciting event is scheduled to take place offline in India between April 8 and 14, 2019. Eight formidable teams will compete for a slice of the $350,000 prize fund.

Team Liquid, and Ninjas In Pyjamas have both made a name for themselves in Counter-Strike Esports. The latter is a major winning organization. ENCE, a famous team from Poland with Lukas “gla1ve”, a four-time Major winner, is also a contender. The German team BIG, with its stellar lineup, will also compete in the Skyesports Masters.
Two more teams are invited to join the four teams, as well as the winner of the Europe Qualifier. The winner of the India qualifier will also compete at the Skyesports Masters in 2024. This gives the local fans a team to rally around. Details for the Europe and India qualifiers will be announced at a future date. The final eight teams will provide fans with a thrilling Counter-Strike experience as they compete for the title. Skyesports Masters will feature Counter-Strike esports excitement for fans with notable teams, a prize pool of $350,000, and a 7-day LAN. Eight teams will compete against each other in a bracket with double elimination to determine the winner.
Skyesports Masters will be part of Skyesports 2024 Counter-Strike 2 roadmap, which includes a prize pool totaling $1 million over six international tournaments. This is Skyesports’ way of securing its place in the global FPS esports map. Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 is set to take place from March 14-16 in Pune, India. Four teams will compete for $50,000 of prize money, including two international teams and one team from India.
Skyesports is bringing not only the Skyesports Grand Slam but also the Skyesports Masters. They will also be bringing Championship 6.0, Skyesports Souvenir Colombo in Thailand, Skyesports Global Tour and the India vs Pakistan Series to Abu Dhabi.
Skyesports Masters launched in 2023, with a prize pool of $240,000. In the first year of the Skyesports Masters, eight esports teams competed over a regular season lasting a month, leading to the Playoffs held in Bangalore, India. The premium IP will be expanded in 2024, with a larger prize pool and more international teams.
