Flexion executives, the games marketing firm, will host a series summit discussions with top developers during GDC (March 18-22, 2024) in San Francisco to discuss ways direct-to consumer services can increase revenue.
The D2C’24 Summit focuses on the new opportunities that developers have as a result of recent changes in the app stores. The goal will be to align industry leaders on the best course of action in light the changes in app stores.
Flexion has already established itself as the market leader for alternative markets, including Amazon, Samsung Huawei Xiaomi, Aptoide DT Hubs, and ONEstore. This allows top games to increase their revenue without any upfront costs or effort. It builds on its partnerships, from UA billing to other leading industry companies.
We have the experience and know-how to take an existing game and find new revenue streams. “We have built partnerships with other companies in the industry, including alternative app stores, that will help us go further for developers,” Jens Lauritzson said, Flexion’s CEO.
Flexion’s revenue grew by 64% in the last quarter as more developers ventured into alternative markets. Flexion helps developers to increase their revenue by more than 10% (compared with marketing on Google Play alone), without adding significant costs.
Jens stated: “Developers are frustrated with difficult user acquisition. It is difficult to achieve positive returns because of changes in tracking and the high store fees. The DMA in Europe, and the court cases in the US have forced Google and Apple’s stranglehold on mobile games to be loosened. Now is a great time for developers who want to reconnect with their consumers.
The ROI figures will be a success only if third-party services like Flexion’s are available.
Flexion, through the D2C’24 Summit will share its direct-to consumer marketing ideas with leading developers. The goal is to reach a consensus about the tools and services that developers need to maximize their returns.

Ben Anquetil’s appointment as Flexion’s Head of Business Development represents an important step in the company’s strategy to focus on the future. His brief is to evaluate Flexion’s D2C value proposition with the goal of helping developers get a better return on marketing expenditure.
