Altenar, a leading provider of iGaming and sportsbooks, announced it will be powering PalmsBet’s global operations.
Altenar’s deal with Altenar will increase their position as one of Europe’s leading tech providers, and Altenar’s reputation in the Balkans region is at an all time high.
Bulgaria is the main focus. The market offers significant potential for expansion, with a projected sports betting income of more than EUR850m by 2026, nearly EUR600m higher than six years ago.
Altenar will also scale up the operator’s Africa operations. The first Africa operations went live in Kenya in December, with Peru following in April.
PalmsBet is one the most popular operators in the Bulgarian market. They offer over 20,000 sporting events. This operator group has also partnered with La Liga to highlight its strength in European football betting.
PalmsBet will have access to Altenar’s award-winning virtual and sports betting offerings, which will allow it to make huge strides in these areas.
George Mavridis (Altenar’s Commercial Account Manager) commented on the deal: The deal with PalmsBet was truly exciting, considering that Bulgaria is an exciting market in terms of sports betting.
“Having been live in Kenya with PalmsBet has opened many doors for us and there is certainly scope to expand into new markets.”
Altenar enjoyed a tremendously successful 2022. They won numerous awards at EGR Italy for their unrivalled sportsbook. There was also a large player count throughout the year. And, there is more growth in 2023.
Altenar is licensed in 13 major global markets including the UKGC, MGA and MGA. This has made Altenar the preferred sportsbook provider for leading operators.
