International Betting Integrity Association and H2 Gambling capital (H2) have renewed their partnership agreement. This allows them to continue working together to improve the integrity protection and regulation of the betting market.
H2 and IBIA notably teamed up to create the groundbreaking Optimum Betting market Study published in June 2021. This was the first-of its kind analysis that ranked regulation of the betting industry across 20 jurisdictions on six continents using a variety of licensing models. This study was the first to use actual operator data from more than 20 of the most prominent betting operators in the world.
IBIA has contributed its knowledge and experience on regulated markets development, particularly in relation to betting integrity practices. Recently, IBIA was especially focused on the US, Canada and H2. In addition, H2 has been increasingly involved in modeling the financial impact of regulatory changes as well as accurately sizing offshore markets.
The renewed partnership keeps H2 as IBIA’s official betting market data partner. It also gives H2 access to its extensive market database, which contains approximately 2 million data points. This data covers 175+ gambling jurisdictions across more than 100 countries. Since years, H2 data has been used in IBIA’s regulatory consultations and other market activities. The two will continue to deep dive into markets that are considered to be sub-optimal for licensed operator development.
