Retrospectively, it was clear that the three days of bustling business at ICE London 2023 ended far too quickly. It was a shame, too, that the NOVOMATIC stand, which had been so impressive, had to be taken down. It was the largest ICE ever, in every aspect. 51,466 sqm of floor space, visitors estimated to exceed 40,000, and NOVOMATIC’s most successful gaming event ever.
The show’s largest booth was transformed into a modern and elegant stand. It offered a great view to the dedicated NOVOMATIC areas, which were able to be seen by all segments of the market. Land-based casino, AWP products & Systems, casino management systems with biometric technologies including secure cash handling and modern access solutions.
The international launch of the new BLACK EDITION II cabinet range was announced at the center of the stand’s all-new stand by NOVOMATIC. This cabinet series is the successor to the popular “Black Edition”. It offers greater flexibility with three new versions of the cabinet: the small BLACK EDITION III 3.27, the large BLACK EDITION IXL 3.32, and the single-screen BLACKEDITION II 1.49J. The cabinet designs are all sophisticated and elegant, with sharp game presentations and perfectly angled screens against a backdrop of contrasting LED ambient lighting. The BLACK EDITION II 1.49J was located in the middle of the casino. It featured the Candelas de los Muertos ™ games featuring Senorita Suerte, Senor Muerte, and a dedicated photo booth. Senorita as well as Senor and Senor characters dressed up in traditional Mexican Dia de los Muertos fashion. These two vibrant titles can be played as singles or as part of the NEW Linked Progressive mix NOVO LINE CASH CONNECTION(tm Edition 4). They were a highlight of Greentube’s show for the iGaming segment.
The massive new video slot slanttop MASTER SL(tm), in versions 2.32 & 3.32, was another new addition to ICE. It offers operators more options for introducing variety into their slot floor layouts. It launched in London with the NOVO LINE(tm), Interactive Editions X3 & X4 and NOVO LINECASH CONNECTION(tm), Editions 3 & 4, which include the title CASHCONNECTION Charming Lady’s BOOM(tm). This highly-popular game was awarded the European Casino Awards’ “Best Slot Game” category on day one.
The DIAMOND X ™, 1.55J was displayed with the exclusive XTENSION LINK ™, Volume 1 in a banked setup as well as in a new island set up with spacers, circular LED signage, and the brand new GOLDEN LINK Progressive mix in the multi-screen DIAMOND X (2.32). A MONEY PARTY ™, which introduced these popular US games to international markets, was also on display with the ULTRA BOOST LINK ™, multi-game, Impera Line HD(tm), Edition 9, and Series 2 of the highly-selling IMPERA LINK (2.32).
Additional news was also presented in the ETG area, including the new slant tops EXECUTIVE and LOTUS SL(tm), 1.27 and 1.27 respectively. Also, the new multi-roulette wheel for Novo Unity(tm).
The European Casino Awards awarded NOVOVISION(tm), a casino management system, the first place in the category “Best CMS/Software product”. This powerful system was displayed right in the NOVOMATIC stand to demonstrate its vast toolset for casino management. It offers a variety of functionalities, including detailed analysis, automation, and sophisticated performance optimization. This system takes into consideration all the responsibilities and requirements of modern casino operations, such as player protection, responsible gambling, reporting obligations, and also modern biometric access solutions.
