SOFTSWISS is a leading supplier of software in the iGaming sector. It has launched its private Bug Bounty Program, which aims to improve cybersecurity. The program rewards white hat hackers as well as independent security researchers for identifying vulnerabilities. This ensures the highest level security for SOFTSWISS’ clients.
SOFTSWISS has launched a private program that is only accessible by invitation to ensure that only serious cases are reported. White hat hackers are encouraged to adhere to the program’s terms and conditions by invitation-only programs, which results in better-quality reports. Public programs may offer a broader perspective, but they tend to produce more irrelevant reports. The private launch keeps the focus on the most important security issues.
The Bug Bounty Program provides financial incentives up to 3,500 euros, depending on severity and complexity. This program provides an extra layer of protection by providing external, unbiased evaluations from highly-skilled security experts.
“We are concerned about the safety of our clients and players. That is why we pay attention to the protection of the products that we develop, but also constantly check our applications using the expertise of external experts and enthusiasts. We can guarantee a high level of data security and uninterrupted operation for our clients by working with the expert community. This is what Evgeny Zaretskov said, Chief Information Security Officer Group at SOFTSWISS. “SOFTSWISS sets a new standard in cybersecurity by leveraging crowdsourced knowledge. Even a minor error can cause significant losses to operators in this constantly evolving landscape. The Bug Bounty Program provides an additional measure to protect both our current and future clients .”
The program began with two products, the SOFTSWISS Sportbook and the SOFTSWISS Platform. The test is carried out in a dedicated environment that operates independently from live casino systems. This ensures no disruption of player experience or platform performances.
Artyom Buckov, CSO Deputy, says: “Cybersecurity continues to be a battle.” “No company is able to discover all vulnerabilities by itself. This program allows talented hackers to hack into an online casino legally, which helps us anticipate and defend potential threats. This program strengthens our commitment in providing the most secure platforms and software for the iGaming sector .”
The SOFTSWISS cybersecurity group plans to expand the frameworks, add more products, and refine the requirements in order to maintain the highest security standards across all platforms.
You can discuss Cybersecurity and iGaming with our experts and product teams during the SBC Summit Lisbon on stand B-160 between 24 and 26 September.
