Skyesports and Realme, two of the world’s leading IPs and community builders for gaming and esports have completed their Realme Campus Gaming League – a national college esports competition.
The Grand Finals were held at the SIGMA auditorium, Sri Sairaam Engineering College in Chennai. 16 of the best college teams from India competed to be crowned the Battlegrounds Mobile India champions.
Galactic Wolves won the tournament, taking home INR 200 000 from the total prize pool INR 400 000. Galactic Wolves won the penultimate match to take the overall lead.
Realme Campus Gaming League launched in India with a goal to empower college students and give them a stage to show off their esports talent at BGMI. More than 2,700 teams representing 200 colleges across the country competed for a place in the Grand Finals. Skyesports organized a local qualifying event at the Sri Sairaam Engineering College to ensure that local talent was represented. Two teams qualified for the Grand Finals.
Jonathan Gaming and Jelly, two renowned gaming personalities, graced the Grand Finals to add excitement. They interacted with the participants and shared valuable feedback. Jonathan Gaming, who had just finished third in the BGMI Pro Series 2024 (BMPS) with GodLIke Esports, in Kochi, shared his experience and insights with the young competitors.

Realme’s spokesperson stated, “We are delighted to support India’s collegiate esports community through the Realme Campus Gaming League.” The Realme 13+ was the device of choice for esports and casual gamers at the LAN Finals held in Chennai. Over 10,000 people attended the event, which attracted more than 250.000 views on social media. This shows the huge interest in esports amongst the grassroots .”
The Realme Campus Gaming League is a new benchmark in collegiate esports. This further solidifies Skyesports and Realme’s commitment to support esports on all levels.
