Regulating the Game, the leading gambling law and regulations conference, has announced IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott to be the second Conference Chair of its 2025 Edition. The event will take place in Sydney between 10 and 13 March 2025.
Andrew is a gaming expert with a wealth and knowledge of information and insight. He will guide discussions and engage participants in key industry topics.
He has been in the gaming business for nearly 40 years. During that time, he’s established himself as a journalist, media publisher and commentator. In 2009, he founded Macau gaming events and media company O MEDIA. Inside Asian Gaming is its flagship publication.
Inside Asian Gaming, a US-based gaming magazine and Global Gaming Expo (G2E), in Las Vegas on 7 October 2024 announced a merger that is expected to be completed by 31 December 2024. The two companies will merge on 1 January 2025 under the newly formed corporate parent, Complete Media Group. Andrew will be the CEO. The newly merged company will cover gaming in the Middle East and Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Pacific, US, Canada, and Latin America.
Andrew has been the organizer of many social and professional industry events, including the Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner and the IAG Academy Summit.
Andrew expressed his excitement for the role: “I am delighted to chair a full day at the Regulating the Game Conference.” This is an important platform to advance important conversations within the gaming industry.
