International Game Technology PLC (IGT), announced that it was in the 88th percentile for the category of casino and gaming industry in the 2022 S&P Global Corporate sustainability Assessment (CSA). IGT was among the 69 companies assessed in this category. The Company also demonstrated strong performance in terms of operational eco-efficiency and environmental reporting.

The improved ranking by S&P Global gives insight into the impact of our sustainability efforts, and helps IGT stay ‘Ahead of the Game’ when it comes down to best practices in sustainability. “This enhanced score assures our stakeholders that IGT continues to be industry leader in global sustainability,” stated Wendy Montgomery, IGT SVP, Marketing, Communications and Sustainability.
IGT was awarded a 52 overall ESG score by S&P’s CSA on January 20, 2023. This is an improvement over its previous assessment. Companies are ranked for more than 25 financial sustainability criteria.
The CSA and Dow Jones Indices’ collaboration have been used since 1999 to establish a global sustainability benchmark. The CSA uses a best-in class approach. This means that no industry is excluded from the assessment and the CSA compares companies in 61 industries. Many companies have been able to distinguish themselves as ESG leaders by actively participating in the CSA.
