The Badminton World Federation has signed a long-term, broad-based agreement with Stats Perform for sports data and integrity leader Stats Performance to provide the BWF Integrity Unit a range advanced integrity services to improve its protection of the game.
This partnership will increase the BWF Integrity Unit’s ability to investigate suspicious betting activity in badminton matches. It is also part of ongoing deterrent initiatives against possible corruptors of the sport.
The BWF continues to monitor the betting markets in real time for suspicious activity.
This partnership allows the BWF, where possible, to collect intelligence on matches and competitions which may be linked to suspicious betting activity.
The BWF Integrity Unit has a comprehensive suite of tools that the Stats Perform partnership gives them. Stats Perform partners not only monitor betting markets but also provide intelligence analysis support, integrity education and its groundbreaking performance integrity analysis service.
