Over 50 top operators, suppliers and regulators have joined forces to support the #EmbraceEquity campaign at IWD2023
In line with International Women’s Day 2023, leading organizations in the global gaming, racing and betting sectors support an industry campaign to embrace equality.
The 2023 awareness drive is led by All in Diversity Project. This award-winning partnership behind IWD2022’s hard-hitting video campaign has been Square in Air. It aims to highlight the remarkable range of personal stories, achievements, and contributions that shape the global betting and gaming sectors.
The 2023 campaign recognizes women in all fields, from world-record holders to military veterans to inspirational scientists to those who volunteer to provide healthcare in the African jungles.
Tina Thakor-Rankin is the Co-Founder and CEO of the All-in Diversity Project. She said that the campaign’s IWD video – which was produced in close collaboration with Square in The Air – sought out to highlight the often shocking personal experiences of women who work in the gaming and betting sectors.
“Into 2023, it’s time to celebrate and highlight the incredible achievements of women within our industry. These feats are used in this campaign to show that the industry strives to fully “embrace equity” and that different experiences can make us stronger.
Ellen Kerbey is the Creative Director of Square in the Air. She said that while we were amazed by the amazing achievements of women around the world, it also serves to remind us that everyone has a story, their own experiences, and our own strengths.
“Under #GamingAsOne & #AllintheRace hashtags it’s encouraging to see the largest betting, gaming, and racing organizations in the world come together to celebrate our diversity.”
BetMGM and Betsson are supporting the campaign along with leading suppliers like Games Global, IGT and Light & Wonder.
Better Collective, Clarion and the larger Flutter Group, Lottoland, Yolo Group all support the campaign. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission and Malta Gaming Authority are other regulators that support the campaign.
The racing community is well represented under the #AllintheRace hashtag. A wide variety of organizations are supporting IWD2023, including Godolphin Racing and the British Horseracing Authority.
The full list of support companies and associations in the racing, betting and gaming sectors will be posted on social media during International Women’s Day 2023 on Wednesday 8 March.
