ESL FACEIT Group, the largest esports company in video gaming entertainment, today announced details about the new ESL Pro Tour for Dota 2 (EPT), which will debut in April 2023.
ESL Pro Tour combines EFG tournaments for a particular game title into a dedicated circuit where teams compete to win a Championship event. This exciting Dota 2 circuit offers players, fans, partners, and other stakeholders the chance to participate in more cross-regional Dota 2 competitions.
EPT for Dota 2 will feature seasons of DreamLeague powered By Intel(r), in which 16 of the best teams around the globe will compete online over a period of two weeks. The DreamLeague will take place at EFG’s Stockholm Studios, Sweden. However, all participating teams can be viewed remotely from anywhere in Europe.
Each season will see teams compete for a share in the $1,000,000 prize pool. Teams will be able to qualify for a DreamLeague Season through the EPT Ranking System. The best performing teams will be automatically qualified for Riyadh Masters, the Group Stage of EPT Championship.
The ESL Pro Tour for Dota 2 Season 1 includes two DreamLeague Seasons.

Season 19
: April 9-23 2023- The Group Stage of Riyadh Masters will be won by the winning team.

Season 20
: June 7-25, 2023- Both the winner and runner up will be eligible for Riyadh Masters Stage Group Stage.
*Regional Assigned slots may change between DreamLeague season 19 and season 20.
The thrilling conclusion of the first EPT Season will be held at Riyadh Mastersin Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), July 17-30, 2023. Twenty of the top teams from the EPT Championship will be competing for a share in the $15,000,000 prize pool and the title EPT Champion. Three DreamLeague Season 19 & 20 directly qualified teams will be joined by 17 additional teams in Riyadh. Five of these teams will be determined based on the average placements from both DreamLeague season 19. Riyadh Masters is held at the Gamers8 festival.
