Team Top-G won the inaugural all-female CS:GO qualifiers by a dramatic 2-1 win against Purr-ple at National Esports Championships 2023, organized by the Esports Federation of India. Top-G is now the first Indian female CS:GO group to reach the finals of the World Esports Championships.
Top-G was able to defeat team Purr-ple with the help of ace CS:GO players such as ShaguftaIqbal (xyaa), captain Swayambika Sachar, ShaguftaIqbal (xyaa), Nidhi Saleskar (Stormyyy), Dilraj Kar Matharu (COCO), Aastha Naangia (CrackShot), and Priyanka Choudhary
Swayambika Sachar, Top-G’s team captain, expressed her gratitude for the win. There were so many emotions, before, during, and after the match. The adrenaline rush was incredible. Top-G won the first map 16 -10, before Purr-ple pulled off a spectacular comeback to win 16-14. Both teams were going toe-to-toe during the thrilling finals. Top-G used their teamwork and skilled attacking tactics to win the second map by 19-15.

Before they participate in the WEC 2023, which is set to be held in Iasi, Romania, the ESFI will organize friendlies against CS:GO elite teams from other countries.
The 15 th WEC will be the biggest edition to date, with a huge prize pool of $500,000 (INR 4,12 crore). The prestigious tournament’s global finals will be held from August 24 to September 4, 2023.
