YAHAHA took over Game Developer Conference (GDC), 2023. It drew more than 2,700 people to its in-booth talks, more than 5,000 to its networking party and supported the creation of almost 800 games during GDC. All games were created during YAHAHA’s live events. YAHAHA’s code-free, data-oriented design engine (DoD), supported them. The company also announced its future features, which include an AI generated content (AIGC), Co-pilot feature and multiplayer mobile creation. It also includes one-click art style modifications, VR adaptation, VR adaptation, and other useful features.
YAHAHAHA’s Text2Game AIGC CO-Pilot tool – YAI – was showcased at GDC 2023. This application will allow game developers to speed up the creation process by generating environments, locales and worlds using just a few text commands. YAHAHA’s extensive asset library is used to create environments quickly and seamlessly. Its DoD engine has the capability to save all game data. Additionally, it offers a unique design approach for less experienced developers that allows creators to create complex game ideas. YAHAHA will soon launch AIGC, a key feature that will be a part of YAHAHA. This is a way for developers to reduce the barriers to entry and lower the overall cost of creating games.
The DoD engine also revealed the mobile co-creation feature that will allow for multiplayer game creation on mobile devices.
Creators will be able to instantly bring their evolving visions to life with the new one-click art style changer. YAHAHA users have the ability to experiment with various visual styles within their creations.
YAHAHA announced its VR device adapt milestone. This will allow any game that was created on YAHAHA to be adapted for VR devices – without additional cost to developers. This will allow developers to reach a wider audience. All of these features will also work in conjunction with YAHAHA’s new industry solutions. These include educational and metaverse initiatives.
YAHAHA Studios hosted a series in-booth and featured talks that attracted more than 2,700 attendees. They discussed the current platform applications and upcoming product launches to expand access to game development. YAHAHA’s core ethos aims to make game development more accessible and intuitive for creators. It has developed an education program that is code-free and can be embedded in campus curriculum systems or taken individually.
Adam Ardisasmita is Vice President of AGI. He stated, “[The] low-code game development engine by Yahaha has been simple to use and very powerful. It will be an extremely useful tool to connect more game developers with players. YAHAHA, especially in Indonesia, can help to build more talent in the gaming industry. This is why we signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with YAHAHA in order to further collaborate with their community, creator program, and outreach.
Pengfei Zhu, the COO of Yahaha Studios said that it was a joy to see so many people learn about and create with YAHAHA during this year’s GDC. It’s been a great year for YAHAHA and it was amazing to see that almost 800 games were created at the booth. After the unveiling of Text2Game’s generative AI tool and Asset Ovi’s release earlier in the year, 2023 will be a year that brings new powerful features to YAHAHA to help game developers realize their creative visions.
Our B2B Metaverse solution announcement is also a great opportunity to introduce the Metaverse to even more businesses and to help them reach their customers in new and exciting ways. We are committed to empowering creators using world-first tools and aim to make YAHAHA one of the best game development platforms for all developers.
YAHAHA is a community-focused platform for user-generated content (UGC). Through its Metaverse project, it continues to open up low-code and no-code creation to increasing numbers of developers. The YAHAHA Asset Library was available to creators who visited the booth. It contains over a million pre-made 3D assets. In just 15 minutes, novice game developers could create their first game. You can now play all the games that were created using YAHAHA’s 300MB app at GDC, and a few of the tens or thousands of UGC games it supports online.
