SBC is delighted to announce that the shortlists for the CasinoBeats Game Development Awards, which recognize and celebrate the most successful games in the industry, are now available.
Relax Gaming is the leader with ten nominations in multiple categories. ELK Studios is next with six nominations. Blueprint Gaming and Light & Wonder are strong contenders with five each.
The InterContinental Hotel will host the awards ceremony. It takes place on the 25th of May during the CasinoBeats Summit conference. Trudy Kerr will host the lavish event, which will attract 400 guests.
The Streamer of Year category recognizes streamers who have a significant influence on the industry. Ten streamers were shortlisted: Roshtein.
There was no nomination process for the Game Performance categories. Ten entries were shortlisted, including two entries from Pragmatic Play (Cowboy Coins) and Down the Rails (both entries by Pragmatic). Relax Gaming has two entries, Dead Riders Trail & Money Train 3, to challenge Pragmatic play’s dominance and win the title.
Four exciting slots are competing for the Best Studio Debut Game title. Games, Wildfire Westby Rogue and Barti’s Treasure from Wild Gaming.
Three titles from Blueprint Gaming (Deal or No Deal), Fishin Frenzy and Ted) were shortlisted in the Slot Legacy Title category. Two titles from NetEnt (Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst), are also on the shortlist. They will be competing against five established titles. The Slot Collaboration of the Year category will have six candidates. In the Slot to Watch category three of the nine shortlisted titles come from Relax Gaming (Cluster Tumble Dream Drop and Money Train 4 respectively)
The Game Innovation Spotlight Award shortlisted companies will have the chance to display their games on the CasinoBeats Summit’s Game Innovation Stage and pitch their games before a panel of distinguished judges. There are many renowned games, including those from ELK Studios, Caleta Gaming and Vibra Gaming.
Blue Guru Games was shortlisted in two of the six Game Creation categories. These were Game Music/Soundtrack, with two entries each, and Game Retro/style with one. ELK Studios was nominated in Game Design and Art Direction and Game Mechanic of the year, Game Music/Soundtrack and Game Retro-style. Hacksaw Gaming was shortlisted in three categories: Game Design & Art Direction and Game Mechanic of the year. Relax Gaming was nominated in four categories: Game Design & Art Direction (Game Feature of The Year), Game Music/Soundtrack (Game Retro-style), and Game Music/Soundtrack (Game Music/Soundtrack). Swintt was shortlisted in three categories: Game Licensed Content, Game Feature, and Game Music/Soundtrack.
