After completing the DQS Certification Phil’s Inc. three-day audit from December 19-22, 2022, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), was recertified to International Standardization Organization ISO 9001:2015 for the third time.
PAGCOR’s recertification is valid until March 21, 2026, subject to satisfactory surveillance audits.
Alejandro H. Tengco, Chairman of PAGCOR and CEO received the reaccreditation certificates along with other members of the Board at the ceremony that took place at the New Coast Hotel Manila on April 12, 2023.
DQS audit reports that PAGCOR met the requirements for quality management systems and risk-based thinking in business operations show that “PAGCOR” has fulfilled these requirements. It also maintained and implemented a management system that was in line with the applicable standards.
Tengco thanked all employees for their hard work and cooperation in recertification. “Ito ay pagpapatunay na nailalagay na sa ayos ang iba’t ibang sistema at uri ng pamamalakad sa isang organisasyon. Pagkakataon ito para magpasalamat sa bawat isang PAGCORian, kung hindi dahil sa inyo ay hindi natin makakamtam o matatanggap ang ISO certification natin,” he cited.
Tengco stressed that he will continue to do his best as the head of the agency and ensure that PAGCOR, which includes all its gaming venues, is certified to ISO 9001 in 2015 before his term ends.
This is our goal, and as your CEO and Chairman I promise that we will achieve it. Pagtrabahuhan natin, pagkaisahan at siguraduhin natin na makakamtan natin ang ISO certification para sa buong organisasyon,” the PAGCOR chief said.
Romeo Zamora, DQS’s Managing Director, expressed gratitude to PAGCOR for the opportunity to review PAGCOR’s gaming operations and to regulate and license casinos. He also spoke highly of the state-run gaming company for their Corporate Social Responsibility and DQS.

PAGCOR is currently ISO 9001:2015 certified for its corporate offices in Pasay, Malate and Ermita. Recertified also were Casino Filipino (CF), branches in Tagaytay and Angeles, Citystate, New Coast, and Citystate. CF branches in Cebu and Ilocos Norte were also recertified.
