Thug Invitational Season 6 is the most prestigious Road To Valor event in India with a prize pool of over INR 2,000,000. The tournament will begin today. The tournament, sponsored by Monster Energy powered by UniPin India, will see 32 of India’s top gaming streamers and creators go head-to-head from May 10-12.
The Thug invitational is a series of high-profile Esports competitions spearheaded by Animesh Agarwal, also known as 8Bit Thug. It has made waves in the Indian gaming scene with teams that have competed in several titles. The sixth edition of this renowned tournament will feature the thrilling multiplayer online battle arena game Road To Valor.
The Thug Invitational Season 6 Tournament will feature an exciting format that spans over three days. This includes five rounds of intense gaming from male and female gamers such as Scout, Mavi and KaashPlays. Other notable players include 8Bit Goldy and KrutikaPlays. 8Bit Beg4mercy and S8UL Regaltos. PayalGaming and 8Bit Mafia. The first round of the tournament will be played using a best of seven format. This will be followed by quarter-finals and semi-finals in a format that is best of 11.
The winner of this season will receive a grand award of INR 2,000,000, while the second- and third place players will each receive 1,00,000. The gems are used by players to unlock exclusive benefits in the game.

According to the latest ‘Windows of Opportunity” report by FICCI/EY, prize money for Esports events in India will rise from INR150 million in 2020 to INR300 million in 2030. The airtime for all competitive games in India will increase from 4,500 broadcasting hours in 2022 and 2000 peak simultaneous viewers to 6,000 broadcasting hours in 2023 and 3000 peak simultaneous viewers.
