FBM(r) Foundation continues to empower Filipino communities through its Bayanihan para sa Kababayan Program. The latest act of the project took place on May 26 , th with the participation of PAGCOR representatives and Barangay Campus representatives. Daniel Matsunaga was also involved. The FBM (r) brand ambassador teamed up with the FBM (r) Foundation volunteers to make a meaningful donation to 350 Pook Aguinaldo Families in Quezon City.
The Bayanihan para sa Kababayan Project, which began in January 2023 and continues to have a positive social impact on the Filipino community and families in need of essential care, reinforces the FBM (r) Foundation’s commitment.
The final stop, in Pook Aguinaldo (Quezon City), allowed 350 families to be directly supported with essential items. Donations included 350 bags of 10-kilo-rice, 350 bags with food aid (each bag containing one carton of milk, two dozen egg, 12 packets instant noodles and 18 cans), and 350 vitamin tablets for children and adults.
The FBM (r) Foundation was able to enlist the help of 15 volunteers. Eric Balcos is the Assistant Vice President of PAGCOR and Zenaida Lenta, the Chairperson of Barangay UP campus, were also involved in this initiative. Daniel Matsunaga joined the crew of volunteers and gave his time to the food distribution. He also inspired others by engaging in acts kindness.
The Bayanihan para sa Kababayan is a second program of the Bayanihan para sa Kababayan in May. This follows the action of solidarity in Cavite City in response to a fire alarm that occurred in a Barangay residential area and affected 2.000 Filipinos positively.
A project that has real impact on the Filipino social landscape
The Bayanihan para sa Kababayan Project is intensifying the actions it has planned and creating a better future for Filipinos. The FBM (r) foundation program, which was activated at the start of 2023 and has helped several families from different parts of the Philippines. It is vigilant in responding to situations and emergencies that require a rapid social response.
