Esports Entertainment Group appointed Robert Soper as a member of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Soper has over 20 years of experience in the gaming and resort industry. He has overseen numerous projects, including the construction of new resorts, and led the operation of these properties in highly competitive markets in both the regional and destination areas. He is the CEO and founder of Sun Gaming & Hospitality. This company provides advisory services in all areas of resort finance, operations, and development to resort operators, regulators, private equity funds and banks.
Mr. Soper served as the President and CEO of Mohegan Sun Pocono, a casino located in Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania, as well as President and CEO of Mohegan Sun Uncasville in Connecticut. He was also responsible for the successful launch of online gambling for the organization. He also served as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, which is the parent company of Mohegan. In this role, he was responsible for all business development and day-today operations at MTGA. Among Mr. Soper’s accomplishments was the successful procurement of an Integrated Resort License for Korea from a global field consisting of 34 applicants. The license would be used to develop a world-class, integrated resort at Incheon Airport. He also oversaw all the financing for the project in his role as International President.
