Francaise des Jeux, France’s national lotteries operator, has intensified its collaboration with L’Autre Cercle – an LGBT+ advocacy organization – in a strategic move to boost diversity and inclusion throughout its organisation and its business units.
The partnership also includes signing the “L’Autre Cercle’s LGBT+ Community Charter” to reinforce FDJ’s commitment towards inclusivity for all genders, socio-demographics and workplaces.
Stephane Pallez Chairman and CEO of FDJ said, “We are committed to equality within the group.”
Pallez stressed the importance of collective commitment, and increased awareness at all levels within companies in promoting diversity.
Signing the LGBT+ Commitment Chart, with the support of L’Autre Cercle demonstrates our desire to go further in the commitment made by the group to include all diversity.
The collaboration between FDJ and L’Autre Cercle is an important part of the broader policy that FDJ has to promote diversity and equality. This strategic approach includes not only professional equality but also intergenerational considerations and social diversity. It also encompasses gender identity, gender orientation, affective preferences, and disability.
Catherine Tripon is the Co-Head, Employers’ Division, at L’Autre Cercle. She said: “L’Autre Cercle bets, using the formal framework of signatory organisations, including FDJ, to develop the business.”
Tripon stressed the importance of creating a comfortable and safe workplace for employees. He said: “It’s essential that they feel at home there to avoid the risk of unfair treatment.”
This partnership demonstrates FDJ’s proactive approach in championing diversity and inclusivity within the French society as it prepares to be the main sponsor of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024.
