Yas Heat Racing Academy announced their trials for the Yas Heat Racing Esports Team. The Academy invited talented young esports racing to participate for the opportunity to earn a prized race seat on this squad.
The academy, which is based at the Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island and was founded in November 2022, ahead of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 14, aims to bring the Academy’s circuit racing, karting and esports under one roof, to give talented young racers a clear path into professional motorsports.
The academy is searching for the next generation of esports stars.
You can now apply to be a part of the academy if you are a UAE national or resident.
The esports team continues their 2023 season. They will compete in several international championships, including the Olympic Esports 2023 Series, the V-10 R League and the Virtual Le Mans Series.
The trial series will run until the 5th of July. A panel of expert judges will assess each driver’s race pace, racecraft, and consistency in their lap times to select the new members to the Yas Heat Esports Team.

After the Academy’s November 2022 launch, we’ve seen significant strides in our circuit racing and Karting teams. We feel that this is the perfect time to add some sensational, new talent to our esports program.
The Yas Heat Racing Academy aims at inspiring the next generation to follow their dreams, whether it is karting or competing in FIA-accredited events.
