Gravity Media has partnered up with Riot Games, a game publisher, to offer Managed services at Riot Games’ state-of the-art remote broadcast center (RBC), in Dublin.
Gravity Media has been appointed as a broadcast Managed Services Partner by the RBC. This will allow Gravity Media to provide remote production support for all ongoing Riot Games esports events.
Over the last few years, Gravity Media’s Managed Service option has been growing in popularity. Gravity Media, in partnership with Riot Games will recruit highly-skilled and motivated individuals who will perform a variety of operational and technical roles to produce the best-in class live events for global viewers. These individuals will support the Dublin-based remote broadcast center, which is powered by AWS, Riot Games’ latest investment in global live broadcast production.
Project Stryker’s first RBC, located in Swords at 50,000 square feet, is strategically placed all over the world to support live esports. It supports Riot Games’ three esports titles: League of Legends Esports (VALORANT Esports), Wild Rift Esports (Valorant Esports), and League of Legends Esports (LoL). Riot has added this space to its City Centre office in Dublin with approximately 165 people who specialise in engineering, business operations, localisation, and player support.
Allyson Gormley is the Global Operations Director for Project Stryker at Riot Games. She said that she was excited to work with Gravity Media to bring the best talent in live broadcast production to Riot Games or Project Stryker.
