GAMIVO is a Polish firm that combines two dynamic business segments: ecommerce and gaming. It grows continuously. The company just achieved another milestone: 5,000,000 registered users around the globe.
GAMIVO, a popular online store that sells digital products such as gift cards and prepaid cards as well as video games and other software. Since its inception, the company has grown quickly. GAMIVO has announced that its users have just exceeded 5 million. They’ve already purchased more than 21,5 million products. The platform is a testament to the trust that its users have in it. They value its high-quality services and products, as well as its competitive pricing.
“We are grateful to all of our users, both those who joined us at the beginning and newcomers. Every milestone is proof that together we are moving forward. We pay close attention to their suggestions and comments. The fact that we have reached the 5 million mark is symbolic, because one of our goals for this year is expanding our customer base, and improving the user experience on our platform,” says Mateusz Smiezewski.
The platform is currently available in eight different languages: English (including Polish), German, Spanish, Portuguese and Korean; as well as French and Italian.
“The majority GAMIVO users are from North America and Western Europe. But this year we had customers from Burundi, Vanuatu or Palau using our platform. This shows that gamers come from all latitudes. GAMIVO offers a wide range of digital products, such as gift cards for popular stores or streaming services, Mateusz Smiezewski explains.
This result was achieved by increasing the attractiveness and functionality of the platform. The customer satisfaction rate has consistently been around 90%, and the Trustpilot rating is “Excellent”. GAMIVO’s user base is also growing thanks to successful games that have brought in new fans of electronic entertainment. These included Diablo IV, Resident Evil 4, and Hogwarts legacy.
“We strive to keep our results independent of market fluctuations, but AAA releases are the ones that create the most interest and growth. We have had several successes this year, and we are looking forward to a very exciting year-end. The new Mortal Kombat will be available, as well as Alan Wake II and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Starfield or the successor of the FIFA series by EA Sports.” Mateusz Smiezewski assures.
GAMIVO’s many and elaborate partnerships with well-known, large brands are very stimulating to its user base. In Poland, GAMIVO created a partnership with the Zabka chain. Zabka’s app allowed consumers to exchange points for discounts on video games. The partnership between GAMIVO and Coca-Cola, prepared for the Slovenian & Croatian markets, operated on a similar principle.
Students from Portugal are entitled to discounts at GAMIVO through their ISIC international card. GAMIVO runs campaigns in conjunction with major game manufacturers. Wargaming is the creator of blockbusters like World of Tanks or World of Warships. Plarium has a popular RPG called Raid: Shadow Legends in its portfolio. It doesn’t stop there. New combined promotional campaigns will be launched soon.
We can attract new users by launching campaigns and looking for interesting collaborations. This also allows us to strengthen our loyalty with existing customers. Mateusz Smiezewski notes that our campaigns with Zabka or Coca-Cola have also demonstrated the importance of video games in the world of entertainment today.
The results of all these endeavors can be seen. This year, the company has had a great start. In the first quarter, it achieved a turnover of PLN 56,3 million and a revenue record of PLN 12,4 million. The net profit grew by 124 per cent year-on-year to a record PLN 3.5 millions. EBITDA reached a new record of PLN 4,3 million. This is an 82 percent increase over the first quarter 2022.
