The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, (PAGCor), is calling on all amateur and professional photographers who are interested to submit their entries by July 31, 2023.
The competition, themed ‘Sa’n Tayo Next?’ aims to showcase the Philippines’ unadulterated yet equally beautiful destinations with tourism potential.
The PAGCor Photography Contest 2023 is divided into two categories: conventional (which includes photos taken with all types or traditional cameras, such as Single Lens Reflex, digital SLR or compact cameras), and mobile (which includes photos taken on all types or mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets and drone-mounted cameras).
The interested parties can submit as many entries under a single category as they like or just one entry per category.
Twelve grand-prize winners will receive P80,000 each for the conventional category, and P35,000 for each of the twelve winners in the mobile category.
The 16 grand finalists who did not win will receive consolation awards (P25,000 for each conventional category, and P10,000 for each mobile category). The ‘Most Popular Photo’ will receive a special cash prize worth P10,000 in each category.
