SBC Summit Barcelona offers 15,000delegates an opportunity to listen in-depth analyses on established and emerging global markets, from international experts. This will take place during the ‘Global Gaming Leaders track’.
The dedicated track, which will be held at Fira de Barcelona Montjuic on the 21st of September, is the second core day for the global betting show and iGaming.
The delegates will be able to get new insights from world leaders on pressing issues such as global markets, technology implementation and responsible leadership. Panel discussions will cover the role of tech solutions in gaining a brand’s competitive edge, the potential iGaming has in US markets and innovative strategies for regions like Latin America, Uk., Japan, India and more!

The panel “Latin America: Navigating Shifting Politic Sands – What is the Opportunity Now?”will examine the positive regulatory developments and how leaders in the region are capitalizing on them. Expert speakers Jose Duarte, Gonzalo Pérez, Ramiro Aucha, Livia Triose , and Livia Troise will discuss whether Argentina’s land-based gambling success will influence Brazilian regulation and the role traditional betting plays in supporting player engagement.
The “Eastern Europe: Europe’s Next Great Opportunity?”panel explores the many opportunities that are emerging in Eastern Europe, as markets mature rapidly. Panellists George Athanasopoulos, CEO, Novibet, George Mamulaishvili, Head of Administration, Georgian Gambling Association, Darko Zivanov, CEO, MaxBet Group, Radim Haluza, CEO, Entain CEE, and Dario Jurcic, panel moderator, will discuss how the strength in the region can translate to a solid foundation for international expansion and lessons learned from Eastern European trailblazers.
The panel “Accessing Africa: Hyper-Localised or Over-Hyped?”will examine the challenges international operators face in entering the region and how they’ve managed to succeed despite the restrictive regulations, technology, and political agendas. Experts Sab Ajhooti, Tyrone Dobbin, Olabimpe Akingba, and Charles Lee will discuss regulatory changes and the region’s growing markets. They will also explore the role of local and affiliate partnerships and investment.
The roundtable session will allow attendees to discuss specific regional topics such as Spain, Italy and the UK. It also allows them to share ideas and strategies with experts in the region.
The second day’s agenda includes the Sports Betting Innovation Track, the Casino & iGaming Innovation Track, the Marketing & Media Track, the Payment Innovation Track, the Technology Innovation track and the Player Protection Symposium.
