The brand will celebrate its 25th birthday with a year long campaign. After a quarter century, which saw the LiveScore brand grow into a global business in sports media and become one of the leading providers of real-time updates and streaming services around the globe, it is now celebrating the milestone.

LiveScore will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a multichannel campaign. The campaign kicks off with an increased jackpot of PS1,000,000 for UK and Ireland users for the LiveScore 6 free-to play in-app promo over the Premier League match weekends.

LiveScore was founded in 1998 by a football enthusiast who, while climbing the Table Mountain, programmed teletext updates to be sent via SMS. Today, LiveScore has over 50 million monthly users worldwide and distributes top social media content for over five million subscribers.

After being acquired by Gamesys in 2017, LiveScore was then merged into LiveScore Group. The change in ownership marked a new beginning for LiveScore. It operates today alongside sister brands LiveScore Bet, Virgin Bet as part of an ecosystem owned and operated by LiveScore.
