Since 1993, NOVOMATIC has led the South African gaming industry. The company has a strong presence and an impressive track record. The regional NOVOMATIC Africa Headquarters located in Midrand, Johannesburg area, delivers first-class products to gaming operators both in the casino-market segment and in the LPM-market segment in South Africa as well as many other African nations. They also strategically steer NOVOMATIC’s gaming operations within Eswatini.
Sonya Nikolova has moved back to Europe after serving as a member of NOVOMATIC’s local Board of Directors in Southern Africa for many years. She will be taking on a strategic role within the Global Sales department at NOVOMATIC’s Austrian headquarters.
Muriel loftie-eaton and Alexander Merwald are to continue in their Board of Directors functions within the NOVOMATIC Africa Group. Muriel will also join Alexander Merwald in the role of Managing Director for NOVOMATIC South Africa PTY Ltd., which is solely focused on South Africa.
Chantel Crossley will be joining Muriel Loftie Eaton and Alexander Merwald in the role of Managing Directors of the Group’s local holding company, NOVOMATIC Africa Ltd. She will also join Alexander Merwald to co-head the Group’s operational company, Eswatini, as the Managing Director.
Chantel Crossley, a chartered account with degrees from University of Witwatersrand, has many years of experience in financial and operational services and IT industries. She worked both at home and abroad for Deloitte South Africa and EOH Mthombo – a major South African consultancy and IT company. Chantel Crossley, a chartered accountant with degrees from the University of Witwatersrand, has extensive experience in financial and operational services industries. She worked for EOH Mthombo, a major South African IT and consultancy company as well as Deloitte South Africa both domestically as well as abroad.
Since joining the NOVOMATIC Group I’ve been excited to join one of the largest integrated gambling companies in the World. Chantel Crossley stated that she was looking forward to contributing her management expertise and experiences on a strategic basis to help the Group grow in the region.
