Paysafe, a leading payments platform, and The Mill Adventure, a German-licensed iGaming site announced an expanded payments partnership. This will give The Mill Adventure’s German-licensed iGaming sites and their German players broader access to alternative payment options. The Mill Adventure, which successfully integrated Paysafe’s digital wallets as an alternative payment option on its platform in 2020, has added Paysafe’s eCash to its range of payment options. This will appeal to players who prefer to budget for and pay for gaming experiences in cash.
Paysafecard is available in over 50 countries and has a network of more than 700,000 retail outlets. This allows players to pay with cash for online gaming purchases. To complete secure payment transactions, players must create a myPaysafe Account and add funds using paysafecards purchased with cash. No bank account or credit card information is required.
Paysafe’s Lost in Transaction study among 14,000 consumers found that the demand for digital money, or eCash has steadily increased for years. It is now more popular than before. In the past 12 months, more than a third (31%) said that they used eCash more than they did a year earlier. This is compared to only 13% who stated this in 2022. Thirty-percent of consumers who had used eCash within the last 12 months stated that it was their preferred method to pay online. Additionally, 68% respondents who bet online would rather not reveal financial details when paying online. 50% believe eCash to be the safest payment method for online gambling, and 52% say it is the most convenient.
