Sandsoft Games, the mobile-first developer, publisher, and investor, is proud to announce that it has invested USD 3.25 million (EUR EUR3million) in The Tiny Digital Factory, a leading independent developer and publisher of mobile racing and motorsport games.
The acquisition of the France-based and Canada-based studio is a significant addition in Sandsoft Games’ portfolio. It will allow the companies to continue to lead the way in player-first mobile gaming experiences well into 2023 and beyond. Sandsoft Games is a global company with a well-established presence. Its flagship game development studio and publishing group are based in Riyadh. There are also additional publishing teams in Barcelona and Helsinki. The Sandsoft Games leadership team includes CEO David Fernandez and Head of Publishing Miikka Lindgren. They will work with The Tiny Digital Factory’s experienced team to grow the studio’s game development plans. Sandsoft will also publish TDF’s games within the MENA region. This will take advantage of the company’s marketing and localization capabilities to attract players from across the Arab world.
Stephane Baudet is the founder of Tiny Digital Factory. He has been a part of legendary racing games like V-Rally and Test Drive Unlimited. Since then, he has created mobile-first games such as GT Manager. TDF has gained unprecedented expertise in web3 technology and digital ownership through collaborations with early players such as Revv Racing and F1 Delta Time. TDF is currently working on Infinite Drive, a state of the art web3 racer. It has received praise for its game-first approach, and was recently announced as a partnership with Aston Martin.
