Checkd Media’s production No Tippy Tappy Football With Sam Allardyce hits headlines, and 750,000 short-form viewers as the show returns for its second season
Checkd Media, a specialist in sports content, has seen record-breaking numbers from the latest run of No Tippy Tappy Football With Sam Allardyce. The show is sponsored by William Hill and generated over 750,000 social short-form views within the first five episodes.
The show, which featured some of the biggest names in football, was a huge hit on Checkd’s social media channels before and after last year’s World Cup. In the first month of 2023/24 it received 4.63 million impressions and just over 350,000 views on YouTube.
In the second season of the show, Jermaine Defoe and Steve Bruce were among the guests. Alan Stubbs, an ex-Celtic footballer, was featured in the episode that generated the most coverage in Scotland, thanks to his experiences with referees during ‘Old Firm Derbies,’ which he discussed with Tim Sherwood, the stand-in presenter.
Les Ferdinand, a former Tottenham and England player, was the next scheduled guest. His episode aired on YouTube last weekend and also across all the regular audio channels.
William Hill has seen a significant increase in stakes during the first month, as many casual bettors have taken advantage of the tips that were promoted.
The rest of the season will be filled with exclusive insights, opinions and anecdotes from a range of high profile guests.
Will Tyrrell, UK Media Director at Checkd Media said, “We had a great deal of success creating an honest, open and engaging discussion with the best players in the sport in the first season. It’s fantastic that we’ve hit the ground running again in 2023/24.” With Sam Allardyce back to share his opinion on football, we’ve attracted an array of great guests. William Hill has been a great supporter of ours as we strive to continue providing quality entertainment and insightful betting choices for viewers.
