Cologne/New York/Taipei January 31, 2024 – ESL Faceit Group (EFG), a leading esports company and video game entertainment provider, and Intel(r) have announced today the expansion and extension of their partnership. Acer’s gaming brand Predator, as the exclusive Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) Partner for EFG Counter-Strike 2 & Dota 2 Competitions in 2024 will be powered by Acer.
Intel(r), EFG and EFG are partners in the esports industry for more than 20 years. They have fostered and supported a global community of passionate gamers through world-class esports activations, events and opportunities. Acer shares their vision, and the desire to progress, innovate, and deliver exceptional experiences is what has led to the success and renewal of this partnership.
Acer Predator is now the exclusive OEM partner for more EFG Counter-Strike 2 competitions than ever, including Dota 2:
- The Extreme Masters 2024 events will be held in Chengdu (China), Dallas, United States, and Cologne, Germany, as well as IEM fall.
- ESL Pro LeagueSeason 19, and Season 20.
- The ESL Challenger will be held in Jonkoping (Sweden), Atlanta (United States), Katowice (Poland), and another location that has yet to announced.
- The DreamLeagueSeason 21 and 22.
- The ESL One Competitions in 2024 will include ESL One Birmingham, ESL One Asia and ESL One Birmingham.
Acer and EFG continue to showcase the latest Intel(r), powered gaming technology in online and offline events. This includes the Predator Helios 16 and 18, Predator Helios Neo laptops and Predator Orion desktops.
Acer Predator, through the alliance, will continue to integrate across broadcasts. The brand will be exposed on livestreams as well as onsite at events. Fans will also have exclusive opportunities, such a its unique booth, where they can try out the next-generation of gaming.
IEM Katowice, which takes place between February 8th and 11th 2024, is the next event in this partnership cycle.
