Checkd Group, a fast-growing iGaming company, has appointed Andrew Grimshaw, an experienced iGaming professional to be the Commercial Director of its thriving Checkd Dev Division.
Grimshaw joined Checkd from FSB Technology where he was Business Development Director. Grimshaw, who has been appointed in his new position, will be leading the UK-based tech development company’s growth strategy.
Grimshaw has a four-year history at SIS, the largest multi-channel provider of 24/7 live betting services. His experience also includes the internationalization and growth of WAB (Watch & Bet), racing.
Recent successes of Checkd Dev include the delivery of a new Acca assist betting tool for Sky Bet, and the creation an enhanced Sky Sports Fantasy Football platform (SSFF), which included the 2022 World Cup. Checkd Dev also has great success with solutions for media partners, including the talkSPORT EDG app.
Checkd Dev targets the North American market. It has developed tech solutions to Checkd Group’s FlashPicks brand. The launch of a new app for sport betting is planned for later in the year.
Grimshaw’s new role will see him overseeing the expansion of technology-based solutions for Checkd’s operator and media partners in the UK and North America.
