The Bulgarian market has one of the most dynamic and exciting markets in the world. In the last 12 months, dozens of providers have moved to the Balkans due to smoother regulatory processes. Bulgaria promises a clear and accessible regulatory framework, imposed by SCG. It also offers a fair tax system and booming market potential. Bulgaria is still a desirable market for operators, even though recent changes, such as increases in licence fees and taxes, have been announced.

If Bulgaria’s neighbors can duplicate the brand value of the country, then it’s a territory that’s worth keeping an eye on. I don’t think the predictions will show any signs of decreasing in the months to come. Sports betting leaders continue to invest in Bulgaria, and are immersing themselves in the market.
The region’s economy is only just starting to grow. With time, Bulgaria will become a major hub in the world for sportsbooks and iGaming.
