The first operator of virtual slot machines in Germany, Die-Spielbank.de is a state-owned company.
The market-leading compliance software specialists Necton have landed a major partner in Germany with Sachsische Spielbanken GmbH & Co. KG. The online slot product was launched under Die-Spielbank.de in January 2023.
Operator has been the first to allow virtual slots games to be run by a state provider. This has drawn a lot attention. Therefore, Necton’s mentor software has been adopted by the company as its RG/AML solution.
Necton’s success on Germany’s burgeoning internet gaming market is a testament to both the company’s background as RG researcher and the industry’s forward-thinking approach towards player protection.
The software Neccton was created by over 15 years of academic research led by Dr Michael Auer (company director and head for development). His work is regarded by many as the best in academic RG research. Operator guidelines often cite Dr Auer’s research.
Mentor’s AI-driven real-time data analytics, which monitors possible gambling behavior and helps both players and operators identify potential problems early, has been implemented at Die-Spielbank.de. This tool detects triggers like a significant increase of deposit frequency and alerts the operator. It then contacts the player directly to help the user make better informed decisions.
Mentor also contains modules for Fraud and AML, as well as a CRM. This allows Necton’s customers to solve multiple problems with one supplier.
Dr Auer stated that the new partnership was a significant step forward in protecting players and more. Our partnership allows for early detection of player issues. My research also shows that responsible gamblers are more loyal and have a longer customer life. Protecting their players is a smart financial decision. We do this to everyone’s advantage.
Kurt Bohm is Head of Online Casino Operations and is extremely confident about the partnership. “Necton’s mentor program is well-known and has been proven in the iGaming sector. We trust the software and we are thrilled about the partnership with Neccton. We look forward to working closely with Dr Michael Auer, and the entire Neccton staff.”
