With a record 250,000 customers placing bets through TAB NZ digital channels, Kiwi sports and racing fans are more engaged than ever.
Tab.co.nz’s active customers have increased 11% in the last year compared to the previous year. This is despite the fact that 225,000 customers had placed a bet through the TAB Mobile app by January 2022.
Jodi Williams is Chief Marketing and Customer Officer. She said, “We’ve made great progress in the past year to offer world-class gambling experiences, and it’s great to see that Kiwis want to be involved.”
“Our customers have enjoyed some of the most amazing events over the past year because of improvements made by our customers, such as boosting odds in sports and racing and removing deductions for racing.
“The Women’s Rugby World Cup saw record numbers of rugby fans bet on women’s rugby, while the Melbourne Cup produced yet another record-breaking year and the FIFA World Cup was an important way to end 2022.
“We’re also looking forward to 2023, with the FIFA Women’s World Cup (Australia and New Zealand) leading a massive year that also includes the Rugby World Cup, France, more UFC fight night, and exciting autumn racing. TAB NZ has something for everyone, no matter what your passion is in racing or sports.
TAB NZ has seen an average of 78,000 customers place bets each week since August. This is up from the 70,000 that was recorded during the same time last year.
“Kiwi punters love to be loyal, and we want our racing codes and national sporting organizations to flourish. TAB NZ is the best place for New Zealanders, Jodi Williams stated. Every dollar that they spend with us fuels racing, sports, and communities across the country. We want to thank our loyal customers who play through TAB NZ.
