The esports betting data platform GRID, and Abios (the esports arm of Swedish sports betting technology provider Kambi Group PLC) have extended their esports partnership in order to increase the coverage of esports results powered by GRID’s data.
GRID, through Abios will add League of Legends official esports feeds to the Kambi Group partner network. These feeds join the Counter-Strike, Dota2, and VALORANT data feeds that were established by the original partnership signed between GRID, and Abios in July last year.
Abios makes use of the real-time data feeds from the GRID Data Platform to provide accurate and real time odds to existing and new partners in the Kambi Group. This integration will allow for the expansion of automated odds and proprietary products. It will also result in an increase in uptime and automation of odds models, which is important, especially on live markets.
Abios can also provide premium features to Kambi Group Partners, such as parlays for the same game, player propositions and Flash Markets in expanded coverage.
The GRID Data Platform sources data exclusively directly from game servers. This is made possible by GRID’s partnerships with Riot Games and Ubisoft, as well 70 tournament organizers within the Valve esports eco-system. These direct partnerships and GRID’s technology provide the most accurate and reliable real-time data for its partners.
The partnership between GRID Group and Kambi Group, which is a data-sharing agreement, shows how the iGaming industry and esports betting can use advanced technology to improve their digital products. Operators and their customers can trust that the data is accurate, as it comes from legitimate sources.
Mikael Westerling, GRID’s Chief Sales Officer, commented on the extension. “We are proud to offer League of Legends & Rainbow Six Siege data feeds for the first-time to Kambi’s Network and add value to their already impressive esports gambling products.
“The continued success of our Abios partnership and our vision of the potential for esports gambling made the decision to extend the partnership easy.”
Anton Janer commented, “We are excited to expand and continue our partnership with GRID.” Abios powers partners inside and outside the Kambi Network with high-performance content.
Abios automated odds models benefit from GRID data in real time, allowing for consistent margins and a lower latency. This results in a better experience for the user.”
